I think more than 50% of people have depression. It comes in waves for me also. You just gotta push thru it go out for a walk or train but its easyer sais than done when you are going thru it

The deterioration of this Woman before our very eyes is just so shocking to me. These kind of scenes have made me really start to book up my shitty life and pull it together before It's too far gone. Addiction to sobriety is a long hard struggle that takes real guts but it can be achieved even though the devil keeps whispering in ones ear that it can't.

I went to rehab in Manistee Michigan. In our detox process, we were on suboxen, or subutex. But you had to be off that for 24 hours before you moved to general population. It was so good. I’ve been in recovery 8 years

Buy a cheap tent, move to the countryside or to the coast, no noise or light pollution, listen to mother nature and look up to the stars. Take your time, regeneration comes from within and does not happen over night. You cannot help everyone especially the ones who do not accept help, never blame yourself for others actions. love yourself and and you will find peace.

Depression's a strange beast, when you're in it, it takes away the very faculties you need to get out of it. Do one thing at a time, respect simplicity and try not to let the world in for a bit… as it's difficult to comprehend and integrate things in this state. It will pass. Much love from the UK.

Hi Jeff, not good to see you like this….. here are a few things I’ve implemented into my daily life to reduce anxiety/depression * Quit alcohol * Reduce / eliminate processed foods * Yoga * Sauna and ice bath * Walking * Supplement with magnesium and Vitamin D * Good sleep routine * Repeat a mantra throughout the day for the things you are thankful for It might look overwhelming but you will definitely feel better!

Look up the book Claire weekes hope and help for your nerves. That will help you with the depression I promise you.

Don't let the world get you Jeff you are better than that.

Dear Jeff, First of all, thanks for sharing this video. And thank yourself for this too, because it is no small feat to share something like this. It proves how strong you are as a person. I'm not going to give you any advice because I know from my own experience that when you're fighting depression, other people's advice does little to nothing for you. Depression is so personal that no one understands the battle going on in your head, which voices are audible. I've been battling depression all my life so what you're saying is relatable, not the same but relatable. Not wanting to get up, suicidal thoughts, all kinds of plans but no idea how to realize them. So yeah, DEPRESSION SUCKS BIG TIME. I wouldn't wish it on the worst person on earth. It's never been so dark that it didn't get light again afterward so keep fighting Jeff. I do that too and I hope with all my heart that you continue to do so too. You, your RUclips channel and a number of people in the community around the channel, the people I mean know I mean them, saved my life last year. Made me start fighting again. Jeff, sorry to hear that you are going through this terrible depression. I have also been depressed since my teens without any reason to be depressed, It is just the way my brain works. It comes in cycles too. Having a pet companion is the best thing for depression, especially CATS...I have 8 cats and they have helped me tremendously..They are a wonderful form of therapy along with the walking and exercising you are already doing. Big hug and kiss. I am from PR and I am glad you enjoyed your trip there.

It is a lot harder for men to speak up about depression because it has to do with their feelings and men have been taught for years that they are not allowed to cry they're not allowed to share their feelings and all that other good stuff I can understand why it's so hard for you to talk about your feelings and depression everything everything

well u didnt seem depressed in the puerto rico video . the thing with depression is that it thrives on idle time and having nothing to do . u have to keep yourself busy in order to help stop depression . whether u are traveling somewhere or editing / making videos or taking a day trip or doing a hobby , whatever it is but do something that can distract u and take attention off yourself so u are not just dwelling on depressing thoughts . but fyi smoking weed can make depression worse , sorry but someone has to tell u that .

i dont believe columbus brutalized anybody . however the spanish conquistadores were known for brutality . columbus was a italian explorer , not a soldier / conqueror . somehow the spanish always escape and blame everything on one guy , columbus . what a joke they teach in schools today .
